I have owned various shears and scissors over the years for various uses, but I will always chose a set of Fiskars over another scissor if I can. You can’t go wrong with the orange handled classic. The only problem I have ever had with a pair of Fiskars is that inevitably somebody else in my house will use them to cut something they were not designed to cut (like wire…), because they will cut through just about anything, over and over again, until the blades are left with little notches that I can’t stand. They will still cut things after all that abuse, but obviously not smoothly. So, you see, the only problem I’ve ever had with a pair is operator error lol.

The first pair of Fiskars scissors I ever owned are still with me and in perfect working order. I used them in kindergarten, they are little kid sized and I still use them frequently because they are sharper than some of the cheap scissors I have purchased to get me by when my scissors couldn’t be found. (scissors always go missing when you need them!)

Do yourself a favor and take advantage of those durable, lifetime warranted Fiskars Dressmaker Shears. They are a great investment to your sewing table! Never be frustrated with a pair of scissors that won’t cut through layers of fabric smoothly again!
